Vuokko Hurme

Vuokko Hurme is a children’s author from Helsinki, Finland. Her body of work includes over thirty books, ranging from children’s non-fiction and picture books to novels. In 2021, Hurme was awarded the Tietopöllö Prize by the Finnish Non-Fiction Writers’ Association for her outstanding contributions to children’s non-fiction literature. Her works have been translated into several languages, including Turkish and German.
